Seven years ago, the Lynch family founded the Tri to Make a Difference Triathlon in efforts to help other families that found themselves in need due to their children being ill. Through personal experience, this family has triumphed and done so much for the community. Because of their efforts, athletes from around the area can combine their love of physical competition with the ability to help those in need.
the money raised for the triathlon is given to Children’s Miracle Network, an organization near and dear to my heart that helps many families and children in medical need!
Here are a few photos of this year’s event
meet our Miracle Family the Campbell’s with their son, Clark and the Lynch Family!this year, the race boasted over 200 athletes and raised more than $66,000 for Children’s Miracle Network
Mark Hillers set the course record by completing in 47:59 minutes!!!this year also had their youngest athlete, 10 year old Hudson! Hudson competed alongside his father, Sloan. I am both impressed and inspired by this young man. every time i saw him running or swimming or biking… he was smiling.
to each of the athletes, volunteers, coordinators, and especially to the community of Lake Tanglewood…. there is not enough to be said about your gracious hearts and excitement to both participate and raise funds for the children of our community!
